Dr. Amanda Suchko
DC, ART Provider
About Dr. Suchko
Dr. Amanda Suchko aspired to become a chiropractor at the young age of 12 when a hyperextension injury forced her to seek the treatment of a local chiropractor. After her first visit she knew that chiropractic was something extraordinary; she was able to get back to playing soccer and was feeling 100%.
Dr. Suchko received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. While studying at FGCU, she culminated a life-long desire to play Division 1 soccer as a member of the Women’s Soccer team. Through 22 years of playing soccer throughout North America, from Regional teams, Olympic Developments teams, and finally Collegiate, chiropractic continued to be a vital role in her performance and training.
After receiving her undergraduate degree, Dr. Suchko attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. She started to focus on extremity work, and quickly realized that there was more to chiropractic treatment than the joint fixation itself. She noticed that the tissues around and near the fixation were also affected. Looking at different soft tissue techniques, Dr. Suchko was quickly attracted to Active Release Technique (ART).
Graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2014, Dr. Suchko moved back to her hometown of Greensburg. There, she practiced for a year at the same clinic in which she sought treatment ten years prior; she implemented ART into her patient treatments and educated them on their conditions and how they could be prevented in the future.
