Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissue to improve your circulation, range of motion, tissue healing, and function.  Massage also reduces your muscle spasm(s) and promotes well-being. There are many benefits of therapeutic massage such as:

Myofascial Release – Soft tissue therapy used to treat dysfunction in the body.  It relieves your pain and increases your range of motion. Myofascial therapy relaxes tight muscles, increases circulation, improves lymphatic drainage, and stimulates the stretch reflex of muscles and overlying fascia.

Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy – A massage therapy technique that uses the neuromuscular system to balance and normalize your muscle function and reduce the your pain. Trigger point therapy is a deep tissue pressure point technique used for spot work to relieve your pain and increase your mobility.

Therapeutic Deep Tissue Therapy – A form of massage therapy where deep work is applied to the belly of your muscle. Deep work can be used with active or passive range of motions and muscle stripping.

Sports Massage – A form of massage therapy used to enhances sports performance and help your body recuperate faster from delayed muscle soreness.
